Strides for Snow Leopards 2022 Recap

A huge thank you to our supporters around the world who came out to make #Strides4SnowLeopards this June!

We can’t believe it’s already been one month since our Strides for Snow Leopards celebrations! We are so thankful to the hundreds of participants around the world who came out to raise awareness for snow leopard conservation. Together we surpassed our fundraising goal and raised over $50,000 USD to support our conservation programs in snow leopard habitat. A special thanks to our 33 teams who, of that goal, brought in nearly $9,000 USD through peer-to-peer donations.

As you can see, our stats speak for themselves. You came out in big numbers to walk, run, swim and cycle and collectively moved over 1400 km from Seattle to Bishkek and everywhere in between! We loved seeing some of the creative ways you participated, including birdwatching, backflips and one supporter who played “50 Schubert waltzes for snow leopards”!

And a huge thank you to everyone who shared their own #Strides with us before, during and after the event. We are so humbled to see this event grow year over year, and are excited to have you stride alongside us as we build a global snow leopard community and ensure a future for our favorite big cats. As a small token of our appreciation we put together this inspiring compilation video featuring images we received from our incredible supporters and teams.

We can’t wait to see you again next year. Until then, happy strides!
