Students will think like a Golden Eagle in this activity – they will build their own nest with a partner, or individually – Keeping in mind the size, materials and location. (Obviously not a cliff edge of the mountains where they usually build their nests.. It should probably be built on the ground).

Step-by-step instructions for activity:
- Students will go gather sticks, leaves or any other natural materials needed to build their own nest
- Make a plan of how they want to build it, figure out the size by using your own feet to measure etc.
- Start building!

- Further understanding of bird habitats
- Observation of habitat, the students will now be able to identify a Golden Eagle nest and become more aware of the materials used to build their homes
