When you see this little cat icon next to a product, it tells you that the product you want to purchase was handmade by herding families living in snow leopard habitat. For these families, who typically live on less than $2 a day, livestock losses by snow leopards used to create great financial hardship and fear – and, sadly, this often led to retaliation against the cats.

By purchasing their products via the Snow Leopard Trust, you are not only helping alleviate poverty and fear for local herders by contributing to a sustainable income –  but you are helping us protect the cats by engaging these families in actually keeping the cats in their area safe!
