Crooked Trails presents: A Night in Durbar Square- bringing Nepal to Seattle and Education to Nepal

Experience an evening of Nepalese culture with music, art, dance, vendors, food and presentations. Sponsored by Crooked Trails, proceeds from ticket sales support the Namaste Children's Fund and the Shree Kalika Secondary School in Bhaktapur, Nepal.   The Snow Leopard Trust will have a table here and will be selling items made in Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, and Pakistan (as well as discounted memberships!) Tickets are $10 and can be purchased on the Crooked Trails website.

Festival at Mt. Si

The Festival at Mt. Si is a community celebration, fun for the whole family event with a back drop of the stunning peak of Mt.Si! Enjoy a chili-cook off, cherry pie eating contest, arts and crafts projects for the kids,  kiddie rides, crafts booths and live music and entertainment all weekend long. Stop by the SLT booth and browse our new products- just in from Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan.


Event: Tibet Fest

Presented by the Tibetan Association of Washington, Tibet Fest seeks to preserve this centuries-old cultural tradition with art, dance, music and discussions of the Tibetan people. Explore the rituals and traditions of Tibet with handmade crafts, prayer flags, children’s activities and traditional food. Symbolic masks, ancient movement and speakers explain the culture’s foundation in Buddhism. The Snow Leopard Trust is honored to hold our booth there, once again. Please come and experience a bit of Himalayan culture!

2nd Annual International Snow Leopard Day

Woodland Park Zoo
Seattle, WA

Come learn more about snow leopards, conservation commerce (shopping for snow leopards and other endangered animals), and what you can do to help ensure a future for snow leopards in the wild. Don't miss this special opportunity to meet staff from the Snow Leopard Trust and Woodland Park Zoo and hear more about their united efforts to save the endangered snow leopard and benefit the people living in snow leopard habitat! Join in the fun with:

·        Special zookeeper talks

·        Enrichment activities for the snow leopards

·        Talks by Snow Leopard Trust staff

·        Face painting

·        Kids Crafts

·        Great photo opportunities

·        Music, and much more!

You’ll also have the chance to purchase discounted Snow Leopard Trust memberships, ZooParent Animal Adoption opportunities, and handicrafts made by people living in snow leopard habitat. Green Edmonds Festival

The Green Edmonds Festival will provide a fun and lively outdoor venue to promote a greener, healthier, more earth-friendly lifestyle!  Exhibitors will offer everything from home improvement ideas to children's products to organic foods to arts and crafts. Presentations are scheduled throughout the day on the solar-powered stage and will focus on easy, cost-effective ideas for living a greener life. The Snow Leopard Trust will be selling our hand-made crafts and offering discounted memberships! Admission to the event is free, so get yourself to Edmonds and go green!

The Sustainable Living Fair is a family oriented event designed to educate and inspire people of all ages and backgrounds about sustainable living practices, natural health, environmental and social responsibility and much more! There are workshops to participate in, interactive booths, youth activities, entertainment, yoga, speakers and arts and crafts. The Snow Leopard Trust will be represented there with our booth, offering our handicrafts from Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan and the opportunity to become a member of our organization! We look forward to seeing you in Colorado!
