On June 26, 2008—two weeks ahead of schedule, you helped us accomplish the final leg of our Spring Time for Snow Leopards Challenge. In total, you helped us to raise $40,000. Once matched, that will be $80,000 for snow leopard conservation!
On May 15, 2008, the Snow Leopard Trust launched the Spring Time for Snow Leopards Challenge. The original goal: to raise $35,000 by July 15, 2008. If met, the Leona M. Geyer Charitable Trust agreed to match every dollar raised. Thanks to your outstanding support, you helped us meet that goal an entire month early! Because of the overwhelming success of the Geyer challenge, Greg and Carol James, and TOPICS Entertainment, added another $5,000 to keep the momentum going. So the challenge continued and we had until July 15, 2008 to raise an additional $5,000. As before, if you met this challenge, every donation up to the new $5,000 goal would be matched dollar-for-dollar.
